Chicken Adobo Recipe

Ingredients:

Garlic ( Chopped)
1 Medium Onion (Chopped)
3 Tbsp of Chopped Ginger
1 Cup Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Vinegar
Ground Pepper
1/2 Cup Water
6 Pcs of Chicken Drumstick
Carrots ( Cut diagonally)
Bell Pepper (cut diagonally)
3 Medium sized Potatoes (Quartered)
Sugar

Procedure:

  1. Mix soysauce, chicken,vinegar,onion,garlic, ginger and water in a medium pan.
  2. Bring to boil until the chicken is nearly cooked.
  3. Add Potatoes, carrots and bell pepper and boil for another 5 minutes.
  4. In a different pan, set aside the liquid from the boiled chicken.
  5. Put 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan and then saute the chicken mixtures for 5 minutes. Add sugar.
  6. Pour the chicken liquid in the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve it with rice.

Shrimp Balls Recipe

Ingredients for Shrimp Balls:

Shrimp (Chopped)
Onion ( Chopped)
Carrots (chopped)
Bell Pepper (Chopped)
Ground Pepper
Salt
Flour
Baking Powder
Garlic (chopped)
1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Milk
1 egg
Msg.

Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients until its ready to for balls.
2. Form balls and roll it in flour or breadcrumbs.
3. Deep fry.

Ingredients for Sweet and Sour Chili Sauce:
3 tbsp of vinegar
6 tbsp of Sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tbp of chili sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 Cup water
Sesame seed oil
1/2 tbsp. dried garlic
1/2 dried parsley

Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil till it becomes thick.
2. Serve it with shrimp balls.

Pancit Canton Recipe

Ingredients:

Direction:

1. Heat oil over medium-high heat in wok or large skillet.
2. Saute garlic and onions until tender.

3. Add pork and chicken, and cook until browned.

4. Add soy sauce, stirring to flavor.

5. Add chicken broth and bring to boil.

6. Add cabbage, green beans, carrots.

7. Cook until vegetables are tender, yet crisp, 5-8 minutes.

8. Add noodles, mixing gently to prevent them from breaking.

9. Cook until liquid is absorbed and noodles are done, about 10 minutes.

10. Remove from heat.

11. Season with black pepper and patis.

12. Garnish with green onions and lemon wedges.

Shrimp in Sour Soup ( Sinigang na Hipon)

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups rice washing or water
  • 1 package of tamarind ready-mix powder ( Sinigang Mix)
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Chinese Cabbage ( Cut into 2 inches long )
  • ½ kilo shrimps
  • 1 cup of string beans
  • 1-2 pieces siling haba
  • salt or patis to taste
  • Msg
Procedure:
  • Put half of rice washing or water in a pot.

  • Add tamarind powder. Add onions, tomatoes and remaining rice washing.

  • Bring to a boil .

  • Add shrimps, string beans, chinese cabbage and siling haba.

  • Let boil for 2 minutes.

  • Season to taste.
