Barbeque Recipe ( FIlipino Style)
- 10 Medium sized Pork Loins
- 20 bamboo skewers
- 1 Cup Toyomansi ( Datu Puti )
- 1 head garlic, Minced
- 1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup 7-up, lemonade or beer
- 2 tsp. ground pepper
- 3 tbsp of brown sugar/white sugar
- 1/3 cup tomato catsup (Heinz)
- 2 tbsp sesame toasted oil ( optional )
- dried parsley
- msg
- Bell pepper ( preferable red,green and yellow)
- Cherry tomatoes
- Cut the pork meat into thin and long slices about 1 inch.
- In a bowl, marinated the pork with all the ingredients mentioned including the lemonade to tenderize the pork.
- After marinating it, Keep it in the refrigerator for about 6 hours or overnight.
- When the meat is ready, prepare the bamboo sticks by removing splinters and by soaking it into the water to reduce burning during grilling .
- String the pork on the skewers with your bell peppers and cherry tomato in between.
- Grill the pork over live charcoals turning every few minutes on each side untill each barbeque is cooked.
- You can also used the marinate leftover on the barbeque while grilling.
LECHE PLAN ( EGG CUSTARD)
1/2 cup white sugar
10 medium sized eggs (yolks only)
1 cans evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar (for caramel)
lemon zest (grated lemon peel)
Procedure:
· In a medium saucepan caramelize 1 cup white sugar( medium heat) until golden brown ( don't burn the sugar ), spread evenly in two leche flan moulds and set aside to cool.
· In a mixing bowl beat together the 10 egg yolks and blend in condensed milk. Set aside.
· Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and evaporated milk.Mix with eggyolk and condensed milk mixture and add the vanilla extract and grated lemon peel.
· Pour mixture into the caramelized leche flan moulds. Make sure you use strainer to set aside the grated lemon peel.
. Turn on your oven at 325 degrees. Get a larger pan and put water where you can sit your flan. Set your timer for at least 40-50 minutes or until your flan is perfectly done.
· Unmould leche flan and let cool for 30 minutes and serve.

Korean Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 Beef Sirloin ( Thinly sliced )
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp vinegar
5 cloves of garlic, minced
Pepper
Salt
Procedure:
1. Mixed all the ingredients in a glass bowl and marinate it for 6 hours or overnight.
2. After marination, fry it on a skillet over a medium heat or grill it.
3. Serve it with rice and side dish (vegetables you like ) while its hot,

Fried Chicken Recipe
Fried Chicken Ingredients:

1 1/2 kilo chicken, cut into pieces

1/4 cup of white vinegar
-
5 cloves of garlic, crushed

1 cup of water
-
2 cups cooking oil
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Fried Chicken Cooking Instructions:
-
In a pot, simmer chicken in vinegar, garlic, water, salt and pepper.

Remove just before the chicken is fully cooked.

Strain off liquid.
-
In a frying pan or wok, heat oil and deep fry the chicken until golden brown
-
Place on paper towel to remove excess oil
-
Serve hot with rice and sliced cucumber or atchara on the side.

Chips and Steak
Ingredients:
4 medium-sized potatoes, sliced diagonally
Oil
Chunked beef ( in tin, Optional)
Or Fresh Beed cut into cubes
Garlic, minced
Onion, Minced
Procedure: ( Steak )
1. Saute garlic in a skillet till brown
2. Add onion and stir-fry.
3. Add tin chunked beef or fresh cubed-beef till cooked.
4. Season with salt and Msg to taste.
(Chips)
1. In a large pan put the oil into boil. It should be deep-fry. Or some have this so-called chips maker.
2. When its boiling, drop the potatoes. Deep-fry till its cooked.
3. Place it in a place and seasoned it with salt and vinegar.

Spaghetti Bologneise
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
Bell Pepper, Chopped
Garlic, Minced
Onion, Chopped
2 tbsp sugar
Pinch of Salt
1 Jar Dolmio Spicy Spaghetti Sauce
200 Grams Delmonte Sauce
2 cups of Beef Minced
1/2 kl. Pasta
Grated Cheese
Egg ( optional )
Procedure: ( Spaghetti Sauce )
- Bring the Beef minced in a pan allowing the the fat to come out. Remove the excess fats.
- Put oil in the skillet, bring to boil and saute garlic till it turns golden brown.
- Add Onion then Beef Minced. Saute for 5 minutes.
- Add bell pepper, salt, black pepper. Stir occasionally.
- Add Del Monte sauce and Domio Sauce. Bring to boil in a medium heat.
- Add sugar and msg to taste.
Procedure: ( Pasta )
- Put a 4 cups of water in a pan. Bring to boil.
- Add a pinch of salt
- Cut the pasta into half and pour a bit of oil to prevent from sticking.
- When the water is boiling, add the pasta. Stir occasionally till its done. Don't overcook.
- Drain water and place it in a plate. Add sauce, cheese and serve while its hot.
PORK KILAWIN RECIPE VERSION 2
Ingredients:
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1/2 Sliced Onion
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes (optional)
4 medium sized sirloin pord steak (with fat desirable)
1/3-1/2 cup of vinegar
3/4 Pound Raddish (optional)
1 tbsp sugar (optional)
Ground Pepper
Chinese Green Pepper, cut diagonally
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- add garlic and stir-fry until beginning to turn brown.
- add onion and continue to saute until limp and translucent.
- add tomatoes if using and cook, stirring frequently until tomatoes are cooked thoroughly.
- add pork and vinegar and cook for 10 minutes decreasing heat to maintain simmer.
- Add raddish and cook for another 5-10 minutes or until completely cooked through but not soggy.
- Add brown sugar if using and season to taste with freshly ground pepper and stir. Cook for additional 5 minutes and serve hot with rice.

Heres my very own version of Sinampalukang Manok here in UK.
Sinigang Mix Powder ( Tamarind leaves not available here in UK )

Quiche Cake
Here's a very simple recipe for you to try. It's called Quiche Cake.
Ingredients: (for basic pastry)
8 Oz of Self-Raising Flour
4 Oz Margarine or Butter
Pinch of Salt
(For Filling)
3 Eggs
1/4 cup Milk ( Fresh Milk or Evaporated Milk )
Cheese
Cauliflower
Carrots
Bell Pepper
Bacon
Green Peas
Onion
Broccoli
Cabbage
1 Tbsp Oil
Note: You can either choose the filling you want for your own version of quiche but for this one I used more vegetables.
Procedure:
1 Mix Flour, pinch of salt and margarine or butter with fingers till like breadcrumbs.
2. Add cold water to form a dough.
3. Roll out and place in tin or dish.
4. Cook or saute the vegetables ( filling you like ) with pinch of salt.
5. Spread the vegetables ( filling ) on top of your basic pastry.
6. Beat 3 eggs with a little milk.
7. Pour Over and grate cheese on top.
9. Bake it in oven (180 degrees) till brown or cooked.
Our quiche cake is finished and ready to eat. Enjoy!
